Job summary

Primis in New York is hiring a Project Manager to own client delivery from scoping to launch, serving as the main day-to-day contact for each customer.

You'll work with in-house developers, designers and solutions specialists to deliver on time and on budget, managing risks and changes while driving efficient, AI-assisted workflows.

The role

You’ll own client projects from scoping and planning through to launch, as the main day-to-day contact for each customer. Projects vary in size and complexity, and many grow into long-term partnerships. You’ll work closely with in-house developers, designers and solutions specialists to deliver on time and on budget.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Planning and running delivery: timelines, milestones, budgets and resourcing
• Managing client stakeholders, from a single contact to large cross-functional groups
• Running kickoffs, status meetings and retros that end with clear decisions and owners
• Keeping risks, dependencies and change requests tracked and visible

• Using AI tools to cut manual work, and suggesting better ways of working

About you

• Experience owning client-facing projects end to end, ideally at a digital agency, product studio or SaaS company
• Confident managing external stakeholders and having difficult conversations
• Strong delivery fundamentals: prioritization, risk logs, scope control
• Hands-on, curious and calm under pressure, with an owner’s mindset
• Interested in how digital products and apps work (a technical background isn’t required)
• Bonus: experience delivering mobile apps or digital products for enterprise clients
