Job summary

Mploylab is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead enterprise-level initiatives in our New York office. You will supervise complex projects, drive collaboration across departments, and ensure measurable outcomes align with strategic goals.

Responsibilities include planning, risk management, and reporting to senior leadership. A PMP/CAPM or related certification is preferred, with 3–5+ years of experience in fast-paced environments.

As a Project Manager within the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), you’ll be responsible for leading complex projects that strengthen operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and support the company’s mission to deliver exceptional outcomes. What You’ll Do
Project Leadership & Execution
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, defining clear objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify priorities and align project outcomes with strategic business goals.
  • Track milestones, budgets, and risks to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Oversee multiple workstreams simultaneously while ensuring smooth collaboration across teams.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all project communications, ensuring stakeholders remain informed and engaged.
Process Optimization & Documentation
  • Analyze existing workflows and recommend improvements to increase productivity and consistency.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain centralized records of all project documentation.
  • Support the creation of best practices that align with organizational standards and future scalability.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Facilitate regular check-ins, workshops, and updates to maintain alignment and accountability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including operations, data, and communications—to ensure project success.
  • Guide teams through change management processes to ensure effective adoption of new tools or processes.
Performance & Reporting
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and business impact.
  • Prepare insightful reports for senior leadership, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Use data-driven insights to recommend solutions and enhance project performance.
Risk & Issue Management
  • Proactively identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and elevate critical issues when necessary.
  • Maintain strong controls and ensure project governance standards are consistently upheld.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience managing enterprise-level projects; background in education, operations, or organizational development is a plus.
  • Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or related project management certification strongly preferred.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management tools (Asana, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite.
