Job summary

Tamara Group is seeking a Project Manager for our fast-paced, collaborative agency environment in New York. The PM will oversee project lifecycles, budgets, timelines and resourcing for both retainer and project work, coordinating across client and internal teams.

Reporting to the Director of Project Management, you will drive client-facing execution end-to-end and ensure smooth collaboration with Resourcing, Finance, Legal and other departments while maintaining top-quality delivery.

• Agency experience managing projects and coordinating teams.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Understanding of agency processes across strategy, creative, production and media.
• Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with project management software for work management and timeline planning.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to be part of our fast-paced, collaborative, innovative agency. While Project Management has four core responsibilities on project work (budget, schedule, resources and process), ultimately the PM’s role is to set teams up for success. The Project Manager will report to the Director of Project Management.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Lead and manage all internal cross-functional teams and clients during the project lifecycle.
• Develop holistic project plans, including budgets, timelines, & resourcing needs, for both retainer and incremental project work.
• Lead and schedule necessary project-related meetings such as kickoffs, brainstorms, and deliverables reviews Drive internal and client communication and collaboration on multiple projects with a variety of stakeholders.Own project-related contracts, including statements of work (SOWs), vendor service agreements, releases, etc. Communicate directly with clients around budget, timelines, process & deliverables.
• Own client-facing execution end-to-end (run status calls, send creative to client and convey client feedback to internal team)
• Collaborate with back-office departments including Resourcing/Finance/Business Affairs/Legal based on current business needs

Experience/Knowledge Required

• Agency experience managing projects, coordinating teams, and/or other planning-related duties, preferably in the digital space
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• A strong understanding of agency processes, including strategy, creative ideation, content development, production, and media
• Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Experience with project management software for work management and timeline planning.

Base Salary

$70,000 - $90,000 USD
