Job summary

Spicer Group seeks a Project Manager (Senior) in Ohio to lead civil transportation projects, overseeing design, budgeting and scheduling for highways and roadways. You will mentor a team of engineers, designers and technicians to deliver quality results on time and within budget.

The role requires a strong technical civil engineering background, effective communication with clients, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Minimum eight years of civil engineering experience.
  • Experience in transportation roadway infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of highway/roadway projects from concept to completion.
  • Lead project teams, coordinate design and engineering activities.
  • Prepare proposals and manage scope, budget and schedule.
  • Ensure quality control and client satisfaction.

This leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced Project Manager with a strong technical background in civil engineering, with a focus on highway and roadway design and construction projects. This highly skilled Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing design and engineering for transportation infrastructure projects including major highways, roadways, and a variety of related infrastructure. This Project Manager will play an essential role by joining and mentoring our highly skilled and experienced team of Transportation Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Technicians to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. In addition, the Project Manager will be tasked with project management responsibilities such as budgeting, scheduling, team coordination, and ensuring quality control in accordance with company standards.
