Spicer Group, a multi-disciplinary engineering firm, seeks an experienced Field Manager to support construction administration and on-site inspection for diverse infrastructure projects. You will serve as the on-site representative, observing work, verifying conformance with plans, and communicating field conditions to the Project Manager and Construction Manager.

Responsibilities

• Observes work in progress to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Examines workmanship of finished installations for conformity to standards.
• Interprets specifications related to materials and workmanship.
• Participates in project meetings and prepares sketches that reflect field changes.
• Maintains daily inspection reports and communicates field conditions to PM/CM.
• Works independently on complex projects and may oversee other technicians.
• Liaises between client, contractor, and project management.
• Keeps equipment and vehicle in good working condition and adheres to LMS training.

FIELD MANAGERCONSTRUCTION SERVICE LINEPOSITION SUMMARYSpicer Group is seeking an experienced construction Field Manager to support construction administration and inspection services on a variety of public and private infrastructure projects. This position serves as a key on-site representative, observing work in progress to verify conformance with plans and specifications; interpreting requirements related to materials and workmanship; documenting daily inspection activities; and communicating field conditions, issues, and progress to the Project Manager and Construction Manager.The Field Manager works independently on projects with complex features, collaborates in project meetings, coordinates with clients and contractors as a liaison, and prepares sketches and record information to incorporate field changes into master plans while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and company standards.THE COMPANYSpicer Group is a multi-disciplinary engineering, surveying, and planning company.
