Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead water treatment upgrade projects in the South West, operating in a hybrid pattern with occasional travel. The role involves shaping delivery strategies from ECI through to construction, coordinating design, engineering, commercial and delivery teams to create construction-ready solutions.

You will oversee buildability, programme, cost and risk, manage client and stakeholder relationships, and support procurement and construction

Qualifications

• Proven Project Management experience within the water sector.
• Experience on water or wastewater treatment works upgrades.
• Strong ECI / pre-construction experience, taking schemes towards delivery.
• Understanding of civils, M&E and process interfaces.
• Experience managing design, programme, commercial and delivery risk.
• Confident managing clients, designers, subcontractors and wider stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of NEC contracts.

An opportunity has opened for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing programme of major treatment works upgrades across the South West.

Rather than inheriting projects at construction stage, you'll have the chance to get involved during ECI, influencing design, buildability, programme and delivery strategy before taking schemes forward into construction.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing water and wastewater treatment schemes through ECI and pre-construction
• Coordinating design, engineering, commercial and delivery teams to develop construction-ready solutions
• Reviewing buildability, programme, cost and project risk before schemes reach site
• Managing key client, stakeholder, designer and supply-chain relationships
