Job summary

Fit Recruiting is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager for an established general contractor in Mobile, Alabama. This in-office role offers a strong compensation package and long-term growth opportunities.

You will manage commercial construction projects from start to finish, with emphasis on retail and ground-up work. This position requires GC experience, leadership, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Building Science, Engineering or related field.
• 4–6+ years progressive commercial construction project management experience with GC.
• Retail and/or ground-up commercial construction experience highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors and deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Oversee project schedules, RFIs, budgets, cost control and documentation
• Prepare bid packages and subcontractor scopes of work
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials and field operations

• Participate in project buyout, contract negotiations and closeout

Fit Recruiting is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager for an established general contractor in Mobile, Alabama. This is an in-office position offering a strong compensation package and long-term growth opportunity.

We are looking for a Project Manager with a strong background in general contracting who can successfully manage commercial construction projects from start to finish. Experience with retail and ground-up construction projects is highly preferred.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects
• Oversee project schedules, RFIs, budgets, cost control and documentation
• Prepare bid packages and subcontractor scopes of work

• $110,000–$130,000 salary, depending on experience
