Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is seeking a Project Manager – Structural Steel Erection to lead multiple structural steel projects in Milwaukee, WI. You will oversee safety, schedule, budget and quality while coordinating subs, suppliers and field teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in structural steel or related construction, read drawings, and demonstrate strong client relationships. Industry experience with GC or specialty contractor is preferred; a related degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have solid understanding of construction drawings and specs.
• Experience coordinating field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple structural steel erection and fabrication projects from award through completion.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
• Coordinate labour, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and field operations.
• Prepare purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, profitability, and cash flow.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Produce project progress reports, financial forecasts, and billing updates.

• Manage multiple structural steel erection and fabrication projects from award through completion.

• Coordinate labour, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and field operations.

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
