Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks a Project Manager to lead complex AI/ML, data management, and cloud modernization initiatives from our Fairfax, VA office with on‑site support in Springfield, VA. You will guide cross‑functional teams, coordinate government and industry engagements, and ensure delivery against mission priorities.

The role requires a Secret clearance with potential TS/SCI consideration and 3–7+ years of PM experience in defense or government programs, in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–7+ years of project or program management experience supporting technical, defense, R&D, or government programs.
• Lead and manage multiple technical and operational projects supporting AI/ML initiatives, data management platforms, cloud modernization, and emerging technology integration.
• Translate high-level mission objectives into executable project plans, schedules, and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate kickoff meetings, technical exchange meetings, customer briefings, and status reviews.
• Track priorities, risks, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables with stakeholder alignment across teams.
• Support customer engagements and technical discussions to identify mission needs and data requirements.
• Partner with technical leads, engineers, cloud specialists, AI/ML teams, and government stakeholders to drive execution.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, status reports, and milestones.
• Support cloud onboarding workflows, secure tenant deployments, and adoption planning.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and external partners on assigned projects.
• Monitor metrics, resource needs, and program performance; adapt to evolving priorities.

Everforth ECS is seeking aProject Managerto work in ourFairfax, VAcorporate office andSpringfield, VAcustomer site.This role combines technical project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and operational execution across emerging technology programs focused on AI/ML innovation, Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), cloud modernization, data management, and mission-focused systems integration.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-visibility environments and is comfortable working with cross‑functional technical teams, government stakeholders, and industry partners. This position supports a fast‑moving data platform and management effort while leading multiple special projects that evolve based on mission priorities.

This is a hybrid role with onsite support expected in Fairfax, VA and Springfield, VA at least three days per week, with flexibility based on project and customer needs. Portions of the work may be conducted within a classified SCIF environment.

• Develop and maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, status reports, action trackers, and technical delivery milestones.
• Support cloud onboarding workflows, secure tenant deployments, and adoption planning efforts.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and external partners supporting assigned projects.
• Monitor and report project metrics, resource needs, and program performance.
• Adapt quickly to evolving mission priorities and support rapidly changing customer requirements.

Desired Skills

• Experience managing cross‑functional technical teams and coordinating with government stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
• Experience supporting project planning, risk management, schedule tracking, and status reporting.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Kanban, JIRA, or related project management tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and collaboration platforms.
• Familiarity with system architecture, distributed systems, or cloud environments.
• Ability to work independently in high‑tempo, high‑ambiguity environments.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
