Pool and Spa Builders, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to lead residential pool, spa and outdoor space construction projects from kickoff to completion in Sylmar, CA.

You will own the schedule, supervise crews and subcontractors, maintain site safety, manage client communications, and ensure quality, on-time delivery and budget adherence, with a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Pay: $75,000–$95,000/year + per-job bonus.

Schedule: Full-time, Mon–Fri, occasional Saturdays.

Location: Sylmar, CA (job sites + office).

Pool and Spa Builders, Inc. builds custom pools, spas, fountains, retaining walls, hardscape and softscape, turning ordinary backyards into complete outdoor living spaces. We also service and repair pools, spas and fountains, so our relationships with clients last well beyond the build.

We're looking for a hands-on Project Manager to lead our construction projects from the first site meeting to the final walkthrough. You'll own the schedule, lead our crews and subcontractors, keep job sites safe, and be the person our clients trust from start to finish. What you'll do:

Plan and schedule:

• Review plans, engineering and contract scope before each job, and flag issues early.
• Lay out and stake pool and equipment locations.
• Build and manage the schedule for each job, from excavation through startup, and coordinate material orders to meet schedule deadlines.
• Schedule subcontractors and coordinate their work with our crews.
• Work with architects, general contractors and designers to keep plans, schedules and site work aligned.

Lead the job site:

• Lead site meetings, inspect work for quality, and keep daily logs and progress photos.
• Run safety meetings and tailgate talks, and keep every site Cal/OSHA compliant, clean and secure.
• Supervise, train and coach field crews, and take part in hiring.

Take care of our clients:

• Keep clients updated, lead walkthroughs at key milestones, and identify change orders in the field.
• Oversee pool startup and show clients how to operate their new pool and equipment.

Keep every of our clients:

• Track job costs against budget and send the owner a weekly status report on all active jobs.
• Work closely with our Project Coordinator on permits, inspections, budgets and paperwork.

What you bring:

Required:

• Experience managing residential construction projects, including supervising crews.
• Able to read and work from plans, specs and engineering drawings.
• Strong scheduling and organization skills; comfortable running several jobs at once.
• Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new software: we're rolling out Contractor Foreman, and some of the general contractors we work with use Procore or Buildertrend.
• Working knowledge of job site safety and Cal/OSHA requirements.
• Clear, professional communication with clients, crews and subcontractors.
• A people person who enjoys working with homeowners, builds trust easily, and keeps clients excited about their project.
• Driving between job sites, suppliers and the office is a daily part of this role. A valid California driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
• Able to work outdoors on active job sites in all weather, walk uneven ground, and lift up to 50 lbs.

A plus, but not required:

• Experience in pool, spa, hardscape or masonry construction.
• Sales or customer-facing experience, such as presenting upgrades, add-ons or change orders to clients.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with Contractor Foreman, Procore, Buildertrend or similar construction management software.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
