Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years in the production fabrication industry.
  • 2+ years managing creative projects involving retail builds, pop-ups or experiential installations.
  • Strong experience developing project timelines and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced visual design sensibility across branding, digital design, motion graphics, and environmental builds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
  • Experience mentoring junior creatives is a plus.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Google Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycles from initial brief and direction to fabrication and final delivery.
  • Own project schedules, milestones, and budgets.
  • Translate client goals into actionable deliverables across design, animation, web, and environmental fabrication.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams including designers, fabricators, developers, and external vendors.
  • Present creative work to clients and incorporate feedback into project execution.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation (timelines, briefs, budgets, communication logs).
  • Identify risks, develop contingency plans, and elevate issues when necessary.
  • Conduct quality control reviews of creative and production deliverables.
  • Mentor and support team members to uphold brand and production standards.
  • Travel occasionally for site visits and event installations.

From retail environments and trade shows to premieres, pop-ups, and experiential activations, we bring bold ideas to life through strategic design and precision fabrication.

We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Creative Production team and lead projects from concept through completion.

Position Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating creative and fabrication projects across retail, trade show, experiential, and brand activation environments. This role requires exceptional organization, communication, and creative sensibility.

You will serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal cross-functional teams, ensuring all deliverables are executed on time, within scope, and at the highest level of quality.

This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position requiring daily on-site presence in Long Beach, CA.

Requirements
What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred:
  • Agency or experiential marketing background
  • Experience working with internal creative teams and external fabrication vendors
  • Portfolio or case studies demonstrating leadership across multiple creative categories
Physical & Work Environment
  • Office-based position requiring daily on-site attendance
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Occasional travel to fabrication shops, event venues, or client locations
  • Collaborative studio environment with moderate noise levels
