Job summary

Granger Construction Company in Michigan seeks a Project Manager to lead public-sector initiatives that impact local communities. You will coordinate owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Procore, ViewPoint, or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Familiarity with construction software such as Procore, ViewPoint, or Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, schedules, and cost tracking with precision.
• Oversee project schedules, coordinate MEP and BIM processes, and ensure compliance with public sector standards.
• Write subcontracts and purchase orders, monitor budgets, and proactively resolve issues.
• Deliver projects to closeout with a zero-punch list goal and comprehensive handoff.
