Job summary

Carpenter Machine LLC in Lancaster, PA is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to quote and coordinate metal manufacturing projects, ensuring customers’ requirements and our high quality standards are met. This role may be onsite or hybrid with remote options; training will be provided to learn the technical details.

You will analyze needs, develop cost estimates, review drawings, and collaborate with internal teams to meet project goals.

Qualifications

About Us:

Carpenter Machine LLC is a metal manufacturer offering a mix of processing including laser cutting, forming, machining, and some robotic welding. We are certified to ISO9001:2015 and maintain a strong focus on high quality standards. We perform a mix of job shop and contract manufacturing type projects.

We are currently based in Lancaster PA and are seeking to grow our flat laser cutting and forming customer base. We are beginning plans to relocate to a larger facility in the Parkesburg PA area.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager at our metal manufacturing shop. The Project Manager will be responsible for quoting and coordinating metal manufacturing projects, ensuring the customers’ requirements are met and our high quality standards are maintained.

We would consider this position located onsite to be ideal but are willing to consider remote possibilities. We are willing to train the ideal candidate in the technical details of the position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer requirements to provide accurate, competitive quotes.
• Develop detailed cost estimates.
• Understand internal capabilities and capacity.
• Analyze and manage project risks in collaboration with internal parties.
• Collaborate with customers and internal parties to ensure project goals are met.
• Prepare and review technical drawings and CAD models for specific projects, ensuring they meet client specifications and manufacturing capabilities.
• Ensure all technical documentation is up to date and readily accessible for manufacturing teams.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Steady consistent attention to detail.
