Job summary

Moss is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the customer experience from initiation to installation and close-out. You will translate client needs into clear plans and keep internal teams and third-party vendors aligned to deliver them on time and within budget.

The PM serves as the client’s main contact, ensuring proactive communication, meticulous documentation, and hands-on coordination across resources; travel for onsite work is expected.

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the customer's experience with Moss from project initiation through installation and close-out, and for the organization, communication, and coordination that keep each project on schedule and within budget. This highly organized, customer-focused position serves as the client's primary point of contact and expert consultant throughout the life of the project, translating client needs into clear plans and keeping every internal team and outside vendor aligned to deliver them. As the client's main point of contact, the PM is responsible for proactive, consistent communication, meticulous documentation, and hands-on coordination of internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure a successful, on-time, on-budget outcome.

Job Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, communicating proactively and clearly from initiation through closing to ensure a successful outcome and high level of satisfaction
• Develops detailed, well-organized project plans for clients covering scope, substrates, installation, timeframes, and costs
• Acts as a partner and expert consultant throughout every step of the planning process, finding and solving problems with creative solutions
• Conducts site surveys and takes accurate, reliable field measurements
• Creates and implements installation plans, coordinating internal resources and third-party vendors
• Ensures the full scope of all projects is delivered on time and within budget, tracking milestones and flagging risks early
• Creates art templates and facilitates artwork delivery and approval with clients and the internal production team
• Maintains strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and the internal production team
• Creates and maintains comprehensive, accurate project documentation, including approvals, change orders, and scheduling records
• Manages the customer approval process, keeping clients informed of lead times, art file requirements, deadlines, and applicable rush fees
• Assists other team members and production staff as needed, and keeps all departments touching a project advised of status

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong track record of clear, proactive client communication
• Exceptional organizational skills with a high attention to detail; able to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
• Highly energetic, positive, customer-satisfaction-focused mindset
• Ability to be proactive to mitigate risks, while maintaining composure and offering creative solutions in time-sensitive situations
• Willingness and ability to travel independently, approximately 30% of the time, including onsite installations that may require long hours and weekend work
• Working knowledge of shared documents and project tools (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Basecamp, or similar)
• Experience with graphics, graphic production, and/or event logistics is a plus
• Understanding of digital art creation and production, and the print industry; Adobe Suite experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• 1-2 years of relevant experience

This position requires the ability to travel independently, approximately 30% of the time
