Job summary

Central Bank seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead a team of Java developers across multiple projects. You will mentor staff at both personnel and technical levels, and work with users to gather requirements and design solutions.

The role emphasizes SDLC adherence, creation of comprehensive project plans, and guiding installation or implementation of systems. You will resolve issues and evaluate new tools to improve productivity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading projects with Java development teams.
• Ability to mentor staff at personnel and technical levels.
• Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management for a team of Java programmers responsible for multiple projects.
• Lead and mentor staff at the personnel and technical levels.
• Provide assistance for analysis, design, testing and implementation of new or existing systems.
• Provide assistance for installation and/or implementation of new or existing purchased systems.
• Create and maintain project plans for multiple projects your team is responsible for.
• Provide assistance in resolving problems with existing systems by analyzing the problem or situation and deciding upon a course of action.
• Research and evaluate new software systems.
• Research and evaluate new tools to be used by developers to increase productivity.
• Understand and insure that programming standards and policies are being implemented by your team.
• Communicate with the users to determine problems or design requirements
• Create a team environment in order to complete programming projects in a timely manner
• Understand and insure that all projects follow the Systems Development Life Cycle process
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Application Development.
