Job summary

PruTech Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee medium to large scale IT projects and sub-projects, ensuring alignment with scope and governance.

You will coordinate stakeholders, lead planning and scheduling, and drive quality assurance across deliverables. The role requires strong SDLC knowledge, executive communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience leading IT projects and overseeing medium/large scale IT solutions.
• Experience managing IT projects and SDLC/business analysis for 3-tier web applications and custom/outsourced systems.
• Knowledge of government IT systems, particularly legacy systems.
• Experience presenting to and communicating with executive level management.
• Experience guiding project execution with minimal supervision and ensuring completion within scope and budget.
• Proficiency in reviewing deliverables for completeness, quality, and standards compliance.
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical resources; strategic input from executives welcomed.
• Strong ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Job description

Propose relational database table design and assess impact of subsequent proposed enhancements on table design.

Designs and programs ad hoc management and operational reports utilizing tools such as SQL developer, Oracle Discoverer and statistical packages.

Assist in providing management reporting and information dissemination

Assist in developing a comprehensive project management plans

Assist in leading the planning and implementation of project

Assist in facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables

Assist in defining project tasks and resource requirements

Assist in managing project execution from start through completion

Assist in planning and scheduling project timelines

Assist in tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools

Assist in providing project quality assurance

Assist in developing quality assurance metrics to measure output

Assist in implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve project output

Required Skills

A minimum of 4 years of experience with the following skill sets:

Lead IT Project Manager, in overseeing medium/large scale IT projects and solutions, comprising sub-projects and distinct deliverables on a rolling deliverable basis; responsible for developing and stewarding related IT Project Management artifacts.

Managing IT projects (as well as formal SDLC and business analysis methodologies) for custom 3-tier web applications, as well as proprietary or customized out-of-the-box systems.

Knowledge of government IT systems, particularly legacy systems.

Presenting and communicating with executive level management.

Managing all aspects of a project, including providing overall guidance and direction, overseeing financial management, and seeing tasks through to completion with minimal guidance.

Proficiency in reviewing project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards.

Demonstrated ability to work well with technical and non-technical resources.

Ability to take strategic direction from executive management and participate in strategic planning activities throughout the lifetime of the project.

Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Strong knowledge of server and application architecture.
