Job summary

MPI is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial, healthcare, and education ground-up projects in Indianapolis. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and act as the main client and design-team liaison throughout the project lifecycle.

You will report to the Director & President of Construction, coordinating with estimating and procurement to drive preconstruction efforts and improve processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction project management experience, including ground-up new construction.
• Proven ability to run projects valued while managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and clients.
• Skilled in Procore, MS Project, or other project management tools.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, permitting, and construction processes; background in estimating or field supervision is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead large scale commercial, healthcare & education ground up projects from inception through completion.
• Report directly into the Director & President of Construction.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, design teams, and subcontractors while ensuring quality and safety. Manage contracts, RFIs, change orders, and submittals using modern project management tools.
• Partner with estimating and procurement during preconstruction and support continuous improvement.
• Deliver projects ranging from $20M+ within a strong, $500M+ pipeline.

Oversee all aspects of the construction project from project buyout through completion. Responsibilities include scheduling, budgeting, and conceptual estimating.

This is a firm that is very strategic in their work and focus on work they can execute at a high level doing all of it with strong project teams and loyal clients.
