Job summary

Daksta is seeking a Project Manager, Commercial Overview to lead and oversee commercial projects from inception to completion. You will develop detailed plans with timelines and budgets, coordinate with contractors and engineers, and ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and cost targets.

The role requires strong organizational and leadership abilities, proficiency with PM tools, and a track record of delivering complex commercial projects on time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the commercial sector with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and regulations.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct project kick-off meetings and align teams on objectives and deliverables.
  • Review project schedules and budgets, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with contractors, architects, and engineers to address project challenges.
  • Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Facilitate problem-solving sessions to address project roadblocks.
  • Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accurately maintained.
