Job summary

TRS Roofing Systems - Houston, LLC. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial roofing projects from handoff to closeout on-site in The Woodlands, TX. The role requires coordinating schedules, budgets, safety compliance, and client communication to deliver successful outcomes.

You will work with internal teams, subs, vendors, and manufacturers, ensuring quality and timely delivery while maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as a PM in commercial roofing.
• Knowledge of construction documents, specs, submittals, and contracts.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and PM software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial roofing projects from initiation to completion, including scheduling, budgeting, material procurement, and project closeout.
• Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and manufacturers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Review and interpret project specifications and plans to maintain compliance with safety, schedule, and quality standards.
• Oversee preconstruction processes and ensure a smooth transition from sales handoff to field operations.
• Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment for efficient project execution.
• Partner with Project Superintendents to develop and maintain project schedules while monitoring budget performance and forecasting needs.
• Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders, providing progress updates, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive project experience.
• Facilitate project meetings and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify risks, proactively troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that support the project goals.

Job Summary: The Project Manager oversees all phases of commercial roofing projects from initial handoff through final closeout and is responsible for ensuring comprehensive coordination across teams, rigorous management of schedules and budgets, and unwavering compliance with quality, safety, and contractual obligations. This role leads project execution by establishing clear communication channels, proactively mitigating risks, and delivering superior client service throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, QuickBase, or similar tools)

Preferred:

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred, but not required
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
