The project manager for the Center for Economic and Community Engagement will support the development and implementation of the Region 2 Internship Collaborative and the Region 2 GO Virginia Council. The selected candidate will support leadership committees in both projects, navigating complex networks and relationships from education, industry, non‑profit and government across the New River Valley, Roanoke‑Alleghany Highlands, and Lynchburg Regions. This position will develop and lead data collection and analysis of an inventory of regional internship projects. This position is also responsible for organizing and developing the collaborative’s implementation plan and marketing and outreach for GO Virginia Region 2. This position involves juggling multiple tasks and projects and meeting deadlines and managing staff position supporting these projects. In order to keep everything running seamlessly, the project manager should be extremely organized, capable of multitasking and managing time well. This position also requires collaboration at all levels of the partner organizations, working with team members, senior management, and customers to move the project forward and requires excellent communication skills.
Pay Band 5. Appointment Type: Restricted. Salary up to $62,000. Review Date: April 15, 2024.
