Job summary

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized architectural and engineering firm, is seeking a full-time Project Manager to lead architectural and engineering design for food manufacturing and storage facilities in a role that includes construction management and business development.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering (or equivalent experience) and strong experience in design-build, project teams, and sanitary facility design. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in architecture or engineering or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or 9 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Experience with design‑build and large multi‑discipline capital projects.
• Mobilizing and leading architectural and structural project teams.
• Managing CSA design and construction of food processing and storage facilities.
• Project engineering management and leadership.
• Sanitary design of food processing facilities.
• Proposal development, estimating fees, and maintaining client relationships.
• Food manufacturing operations.
• Construction safety and compliance.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in architecture or engineering or related field from an accredited school or college and at least 5 years of relevant experience, OR if no degree, at least 9 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with any/all of the following:

• Design‑Build and execution of large multi‑discipline capital projects.
• Mobilizing and leading architectural and structural project teams.
• Managing CSA design and construction of food processing and storage facilities.
• Project engineering management and leadership.
• Sanitary design of food processing facilities.
• Proposal development, estimating fees, and maintaining client relationships.
• Food manufacturing operations.
• Construction safety and compliance.
