Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Project Manager to lead medium to large architectural projects across multiple offices including Green Bay, WI. The role emphasizes budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination, with travel up to 25%.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering with at least seven years of project experience and two years in PM, or eleven years airport project experience with PM exposure. Licensure such as NCARB is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or related field from an accredited college.
• Minimum 7 years of project experience with at least 2 years in project management.
• Alternative: 11 years of airport project experience with at least 2 years of PM if no degree.

As a result, a full-time position is available for an Experienced Project Manager within our Architecture group at either our Chicago (IL), Bloomington (MN), Green Bay and Madison (WI) office locations.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing medium to large projects for budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation

• Developing and managing client contacts to secure future work

• Developing proposals including scope and pricing

• Providing project quality control

• Developing and delivering presentations to clients, partners, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)

• Other tasks as assigned.

A valid driver's license and travel will be required (potentially up to 25% of the time).

The successful candidate must have all the following:

• A bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or other related field from an accredited college or university

• At least 7 years of relevant project experience with at least 2 years of project management experience

OR

• If no degree, must have at least 11 years of relevant airport project experience with at least 2 years of project management experience

The ideal candidate will have any/all the following:

• Experience managing medium to large projects

• Experience working on and/or managing airport projects

• Experience developing new clients and maintaining relationships with current clients

• Experience developing proposals including scope and pricing

• Experience with quality control

• Experience mentoring less experienced staff

• Experience or familiarity with generative AI-driven tools, platforms, or systems (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Chat GPT, Claude, Gemini) to enhance productivity, automate tasks, and reduce errors

A professional license in architecture with NCARB certification or in engineering with PE is highly preferred. Current accreditation as a LEED AP, WELL AP, or Guiding Principles Compliance Professional are also a plus.

Salary Range: $130,000 to $145,000 - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set and/or location.
