Job summary

Green Key Resources partners with Nashville's established General Contractor to identify a Project Manager for their growing team. This well-capitalized builder handles commercial, education, hospitality, justice, infrastructure, and civil projects across the Southeast, known for collaboration and long employee tenure.

You will lead commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout, mentor staff, and coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or higher in CM/Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, contracts and construction docs.
• Proficiency with construction management software (MS Office, Bluebeam, Viewpoint, Procore).

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Partner with field leadership to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Participate in preconstruction activities including estimating, budgeting, and subcontractor sourcing.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Manage subcontractor relationships, buyouts, and contract administration.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.

Green Key Resources is partnering with one of Nashville's most established and highly respected General Contractors to identify a Project Manager for their growing team.

This is an opportunity to join a well-capitalized, long-standing builder with a strong backlog of work across commercial, education, hospitality, justice, infrastructure, and civil projects throughout the Southeast. Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Partner closely with field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Participate in preconstruction efforts including estimating, budgeting, subcontractor solicitation, scope reviews, and constructability analysis.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, forecasts, and cost controls throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage subcontractor relationships, negotiations, buyouts, and contract administration.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, project documentation, and project reporting.
• Lead project teams while mentoring and developing Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.
• Coordinate closely with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage project closeout activities, punch lists, turnover documentation, and final completion efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and subcontractor management.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, contracts, and construction documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Viewpoint, Procore, and other construction management software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
