Job summary

Oscar is seeking a Project Manager to oversee site development projects with a strong focus on earthwork and underground utilities. This largely office-based role relies on solid field understanding and experience managing self-perform crews.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with superintendents, owners, engineers and stakeholders, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure projects stay on track and within budget.

Qualifications

• PM experience in site development or heavy civil construction.
• Strong understanding of earthwork, grading and dirt operations.
• Experience with underground utilities (water, sewer, storm).
• Experience overseeing self-perform crews.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage site development projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, cost tracking and forecasting.
• Manage project schedules and overall progress.
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents and self-perform field crews.
• Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors and material procurement.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers and project stakeholders.
• Track production and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Identify and resolve project issues before they impact cost or schedule; assist with project closeout and final documentation.
