GENERAL DESCRIPTION:The Project Manager is a one-year contract position responsible for leading the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and successful completion of a large-scale, multi-million-dollar organizational initiative with a fixed operational launch date. This position serves as the central point of coordination for all project activities and stakeholders, ensuring that milestones, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and organizational priorities remain on schedule.The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams, including construction and facility development, development of clinical workflows, information technology implementation, staffing and workforce development, policy and procedure development, operational readiness, licensing and compliance activities, vendor management, marketing and communications, equipment procurement, training, and go-live preparation.This position works closely with the Executive Team, Senior Leadership Team, contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal departments to ensure the project is completed successfully, on time, within scope, and within budget.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES:Project Management Expertise:Extensive experience managing complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.Experience overseeing multi-million-dollar projects from planning through implementation.Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict adherence to deadlines.Experience coordinating complex project schedules, dependencies, and critical paths.Construction and Facility Development:Demonstrated experience managing construction, renovation, facility startup, or capital improvement projects.Ability to coordinate contractors, architects, engineers, inspectors, and vendors.Understanding construction timelines, permitting processes, inspections, and project closeout activities.Technology and Systems Implementation:Experience leading information technology initiatives, system implementations, software deployments, or infrastructure projects.Strong technology proficiency with project management software, collaboration platforms, data analytics, and reporting tools.Ability to coordinate technology design, implementation, testing, training, and operational deployment.Application to Practice:Ability to translate strategic objectives into executable work plans.Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining accountability.Ability to identify operational gaps, anticipate challenges, and develop installation, and facility preparation.Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, training, and workforce-readiness activities.Oversee development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.Coordinate information technology planning, configuration, testing, training, and deployment.Facilitate vendor relationships and monitor contract deliverables.Coordinate marketing, communications, and public-awareness activities related to the project launch.Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.Ensure stakeholders remain informed regarding project status, deadlines, and deliverables.Provide routine updates to executive leadership and governing stakeholders.Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory, contractual, and organizational requirements.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Required:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.Minimum five (5) years of project management experience.Minimum three (3) years managing complex projects with budgets exceeding $1 million.Demonstrated experience managing large, multi-department projects involving multiple stakeholders.Experience developing and maintaining detailed project timelines and implementation plans.Preferred:Experience with healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit, or human-services organizations.Experience managing construction or facility-development projects.Experience managing information technology system-implementation projects.Master's degree in a related field.LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND REGISTRATIONS:Preferred:Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Agile, Scrum, Lean, or other project management certification.Required:Valid Florida driver's license.Ability to maintain an acceptable driving record and meet insurance-carrier requirements.ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS:Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and project management software.Ability to sit at a desk and view a display screen for extended periods.Ability to move throughout construction sites, offices, and program environments.Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.Ability to lift and
