Job summary

Corey Construction is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to oversee roofing projects from planning through completion. This role coordinates field operations, manages budgets and schedules, and ensures quality and safety standards across multiple projects.

You will lead field crews, subcontractors and vendors, maintain strong customer relationships, and report progress to Operations leadership while promoting safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial construction or roofing project management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial roofing systems (low-slope, shingle, standing seam metal, wall metal).
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read plans and construction documentation.
• Willing to travel to jobsites; valid driver's license.
• Comfortable working in both office and active jobsite environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial roofing projects, field personnel, and subcontractors from handoff through closeout.
• Plan labor, materials, equipment, and project schedules, including weekly look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor budgets, labor productivity, equipment costs, and overall project performance.
• Conduct jobsite walks and coordinate with general contractors, field teams, and subcontractors to maintain quality and schedule.
• Coordinate manufacturer inspections, punch lists, and final project closeout.
• Monitor project backlog and anticipate staffing needs.
• Support Service Department operations, including leak calls and crew scheduling.
• Maintain relationships with customers, general contractors, vendors, and manufacturers.
• Provide regular project status updates to Operations leadership.
• Promote safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

This position is responsible for coordinating field operations, controlling project costs and schedules, maintaining quality and safety standards, and supporting service operations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong commercial roofing knowledge who can effectively manage field teams, subcontractors, customers, vendors, and multiple projects simultaneously.

Project & Field Operations

• Manage commercial roofing projects, field personnel, and subcontractors from project handoff through closeout.
• Plan labor, materials, equipment, and project schedules, including weekly look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor project budgets, labor productivity, equipment costs, and overall project performance.
• Conduct jobsite walks and coordinate with general contractors, field teams, and subcontractors to maintain quality and schedule requirements.
• Coordinate manufacturer inspections, punch lists, and final project closeout.
• Monitor project backlog and anticipate future staffing, labor, and material needs.

Service Operations & Customer Coordination

• Support Service Department operations, including leak calls, crew scheduling, and customer communication.
• Coordinate timely responses to service requests and ensure crews have the required materials, documentation, and safety equipment.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, general contractors, vendors, and manufacturers.
• Monitor service and repair quality and ensure required documentation is completed accurately.
• Monitor project budgets, job costs, labor, equipment expenses, and productivity.
• Maintain accurate project reporting, including WIP updates, payroll information, project schedules, RFIs, change orders, daily reports, and project documentation.
• Provide regular project status updates to Operations leadership.
• Support the hiring, training, coaching, and development of field personnel and project teams.
• Promote a culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
