Job summary

RemotelyHR is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. You will develop plans, estimate costs, and coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a solid grasp of project management and estimating methodologies. This in-person position emphasizes safety and compliance with company policies throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management and estimating within the construction or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and estimating techniques.
  • Proficiency in project management software and estimating tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, analyzing labor, materials, and overhead expenses.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets while mitigating risks and addressing challenges.
  • Lead project meetings, providing updates to team members and stakeholders on project status and next steps.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.

Job Summary

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and clients.
  • Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function to this position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements

Ability to work in an office environment and on construction sites, including exposure to varying weather conditions. Capability to perform site visits, which may involve walking, climbing, and navigating uneven terrain. Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment up to 30 lbs as needed.
