Overview

Job Title: Construction Project Manager / Estimator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager / Estimator to oversee projects from pre-construction through completion. This role combines estimating responsibilities with project execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Construction / Estimating
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposals
  • Perform quantity take-offs and scope analysis from plans and specifications
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
  • Develop value engineering options to optimize cost and efficiency
  • Assist in contract negotiations and project buyout
• Project Management
  • Manage all phases of construction projects from kickoff to closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Client & Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and consultants
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates
  • Resolve issues proactively to maintain project momentum
• Field & Quality Oversight
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies
  • Manage punch lists and project closeout documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction
• Strong estimating and cost control experience
• Proficiency in estimating and project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Sage, or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
