Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and deliverables from preconstruction through closeout.
• Coordinate with superintendents and subcontractors to meet milestones.
• Support estimating, bid review, subcontractor selection, procurement, and value engineering.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and cost reporting.
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress, risks, and solutions to clients and project stakeholders.
• Anticipate scheduling conflicts, material delays, and construction challenges, and drive timely resolutions.
• Partner with field leadership to support safety, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
• Oversee punch lists, turnover documentation, and final project completion.

An established commercial general contractor is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Concord, California. This opportunity is ideal for someone who brings strong ownership, clear communication, and a practical approach to delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

What You’ll Do

• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and deliverables from preconstruction through closeout.

• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience managing project financials, change orders, and schedules.
• Clear communication, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Comfort using construction project management and scheduling software.
• Grocery, retail, tenant improvement, or occupied-facility renovation experience is a plus.
