Job summary

Calculated Hire is seeking a Treasury Management Project Manager on a contract basis in Cincinnati. The role leads treasury workstreams during bank acquisition integrations, coordinating planning, testing, and portfolio onboarding for core treasury services.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in banking project management, hands-on M&A integrations, and strong knowledge of treasury products. Local on-site work 3–4 days/week, hybrid with some remote interviewing.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in banking or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with at least one bank merger, acquisition, or systems conversion.
• Strong working knowledge of Treasury Management products and operations.
• Local to Cincinnati, OH and able to work on-site 3–4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of Treasury Management integration projects within the IMO portfolio
• Onboard new and in-flight projects into the portfolio, defining scope, milestones, dependencies, and reporting cadence
• Assess testing needs and capabilities across treasury products such as ACH, wires, positive pay, remote deposit, and commercial online banking
• Coordinate test planning and execution, including SIT, UAT, and mock conversions, with QA and technology partners
• Track and escape risks, issues, and dependencies, and drive timely decisions with sponsors
• Produce clear, executive-ready status reporting for IMO leadership and business sponsors
• Coordinate across treasury operations, product, technology, vendors, and consultants to support a smooth client transition

Treasury Management Project Manager (Contract)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid; 3–4 days on-site per week in Cincinnati – local candidates only

Reports to/Team Dynamic: reports to the Integration Management Office (IMO) leadership; you’ll partner with business sponsors, treasury operations, product, technology, and consulting teams on a bank acquisition integration

Pay Range: $45-60

About the Role:

When a bank brings on a new acquisition, its commercial clients still expect their treasury services to work on day one. In this role you’ll lead the Treasury Management workstream of a bank acquisition integration, bringing new and in-flight treasury projects into the integration portfolio, assessing testing needs and capabilities, and keeping products such as ACH, wires, and positive pay on track through conversion. This is a 5–6 month contract starting in late Nov/early December, with remote interviews and a hybrid on-site schedule in Cincinnati. Prior bank M&A integration experience is a must.

What You Bring:

Required

• 8+ years of project management experience in banking or financial services
• Hands-on experience with at least one bank merger, acquisition, or systems conversion
• Strong working knowledge of Treasury Management products and operations
• Local to Cincinnati, OH and able to work on-site 3–4 days per week

Preferred

• Multiple end-to-end bank M&A integrations, ideally within an IMO or PMO
• Experience onboarding projects into a portfolio and managing testing in a regulated environment
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
