Mars United Commerce is seeking a Project Manager to work in a remote-friendly capacity. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to our Detroit or Chicago office.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee agency operations across several major CPG clients.
• Independently lead shopper marketing planning processes with clients and/or retailers to build customized programs for specific brands/retailers.
• Oversee the implementation of key client projects.
• Demonstrate persuasive written and oral communication skills to build strong client relationships.
• Utilize advanced financial knowledge of agency P&L components and understand how resource utilization impacts overall profit.
• Present projects to senior management to positively influence client relationships.
• Manage workflow and capacity across cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate directly with Planning, Creative, Account Service, Channel, Finance, and Production teams to manage deliverables.
• Take ownership of complex and high-risk projects.
• Ensure quality control and troubleshoot issues.
• Train and mentor team members.
• Serve as an internal systems expert.
• Assist in writing, implementing, and training on new processes.
• Contribute to staffing planning.

SKILL SETS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related field.
• 2-3 years of marketing or advertising experience, preferably in an agency setting with retailer promotions.
• Strategic thinking for developing shopper marketing programs and managing daily operations.
• Sound decision-making skills based on agency, client, and industry knowledge.
• Passion for business and continuous improvement.
• Strong computer skills, proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage time effectively, adhere to strict timelines, and work well under pressure.

Compensation Range: $49,305 - $65,415 annually, depending on location and experience. The application deadline is May 31, 2025. Details vary by Detroit and Chicago locations.
