OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The Project Manager oversees and manages software development projects in the healthcare and human services sector. This role demands strong project management skills, excellent communication, and a thorough understanding of healthcare software development and deployment.

  • Lead and manage software development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as developers, designers, and QA to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Provide leadership and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Support cybersecurity policies and procedures in line with company standards.
Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • PMP or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience managing healthcare software projects.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Microsoft Project, Jira, Zendesk).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of healthcare software standards and practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in related fields.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations like HIPAA.
