University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a grants management professional to coordinate and oversee 2-3 oncology-related research projects. The role acts as the primary contact among internal study partners and ensures timely execution of all activities including timeline creation, budgeting assistance, and collaboration with health care facilities.

This position will manage efforts for 2-3 federally or privately funded oncology team science projects. The position will serve a critical role and act as the primary point of contact in the communication and coordination among internal study partners, and assure the timely implementation of all research activities related to the project. Responsibilities of the project will include but are not limited to: establish study and grant application timelines, assisting with grant and project budgeting, coordinating research meetings and retreats, conducting day-to-day project related operations, assisting in the grant renewal and progress report submissions for the funder, and maintain collaborative partnerships with participating health care facilities.
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
