Job summary

China Mobile International (USA) Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to work with headquarters on monitoring IP and transit network status and to plan network infrastructure to meet market demand.

The role requires deep IP/transit knowledge, hands-on experience with IP network setup, and strong communication in English and Chinese; you will coordinate with local teams and partners to ensure successful network construction and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with Cisco and Juniper networking equipment and IP/transit planning.
• At least 5 years in a related field; strong English and Chinese writing/communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and plan IP and transit network.
• Coordinate IP and Leased Line enhancements.
• Support IP and Leased Line projects with solutions and delivery.
• Build partner relationships and manage construction procedures.
• Provide information and reports for decision and procurement.
• Troubleshoot and reconfigure network issues when possible.
• Collaborate with headquarters on Americas region network planning.
• Perform other tasks as requested by supervisor.

The successful candidate will cooperate with the headquarters to monitoring IP and transit network status, and plan to build up network infrastructure to meet market demand. Qualifications including deep understanding of IP and transit network; experience of building and configuring IP network; self-motivated; detail oriented; outstanding team-player; strong written & verbal communication skills are highly recommended.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for IP and transit network monitoring and planning.
• Responsible for product improvement and coordinate of IP and Leased Line.
• Support IP and Leased line project providing solutions and delivery services for local team.
• Work with local team to build up relationship with partners and follow up the construction procedure for network infrastructure.
• Responsible for collecting and providing necessary information and report for the decision and procurement procedure.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and reconfiguration when possible network failure occurs.
• Cooperate and discuss with the headquarter about Americas Region network construction planning and promote specific network construction.
• Perform other tasks as requested by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Professional knowledge of Cisco, Juniper and other network equipment. Knowing technical specifications of network equipment and how to choose proper equipment for certain network requirement.
• At least 5-year experience in related field.
• Self-motivated, detailed oriented, team-player with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese writing and communication skills.
• Profound knowledge in related theories and methodologies.
• Professional knowledge of IP, transit network and network planning.
