Job summary

China Mobile International (USA) Inc., headquartered in Silicon Valley, seeks a Solution Manager to design and sell solutions leveraging CMIs product portfolio, while ensuring service delivery. You will work with account managers and engineering teams to translate customer needs into effective telecom solutions and oversee IP backbone circuits globally.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree with 3+ years in IT/telecom or a bachelor’s with 5+ years, plus strong knowledge of transport and IP

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT, Telecommunications or network engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years related experience.
• Strong knowledge of transport and IP technology; SD-WAN, VOIP, and global PBX is a plus.
• Proficient with Cisco network equipment; CCNP preferred, CCIE is a plus.
• Self-motivated, detailed oriented, team-player with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer's existing network; then dig and collect technical requirement through communication with customer.
• Design the most appropriate solution based on product portfolios and solution template according to customer needs.
• Regularly keep sales team aware of product updates, and keep product team /network team aware of trends of technical requirement in the market.
• Responsible for provisioning& testing customer IP transit, MPLS VPN, IPX services as well as backbone circuits.
• Work with the network department in Hong Kong for day-to-day operations as well as work with third party venders for equipment upgrade.
• Perform other tasks as requested by the supervisor.

China Mobile International (USA) Inc. is looking for a Solution Manager based in the US. This role needs to work alongside account managers and supporting team to target customer opportunities using consultative skill to design solutions and sell CMI’s products, meanwhile ensure service delivery. Besides, the successful candidate will use in-depth expertise to manage& administrate IP backbone circuits on a global scale.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree with 3+ years of hands-on experience (or bachelor degree with 5+ years related experience )in IT, Telecommunications or network engineering field.
• Strong Knowledge of both transport and IP technology; other profession not limited to network automation, SD-WAN, VOIP, and global PBX is a plus.
• Proficient in carrier-class, multi-brand router / switch configuration, Layer 3 routing, MPLS, and Layer 2 switching.
• Must be familiar with Cisco network equipment, CCNP is preferred, CCIE is a plus.
• Self-motivated, detailed oriented, team-player with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to speak Spanish or Mandarin is a plus.
