Electric Supply & Equipment is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the project management business by handling multiple projects from procurement to shipment. You will be the primary contact for all project items, coordinating with procurement, production, and partners to meet deadlines while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
The role requires strong data entry, Excel skills, and the ability to navigate vendor websites.
Support the project management business and other value add services by managing multiple aspects of each project.
1. Execute and manage projects to ensure successful outcomes for our customers and our company.
2. Lead projects from procurement through shipment as the primary point of contact for all items related to that project.
a. Manage procurement with purchasing team.
b. Track material arrival to project deadlines.
c. Adjust and manage material as required to meet deadlines.
d. Regularly communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding the status of all projects.
e. Coordinate with production teams to ensure project is built on time and correctly.
f. Coordinate with partners for outsourced services and parts.
g. Coordinate delivery of material to testing locations and final destination.
3. Manage schedule across multiple projects and multiple work groups.
4. Resolve customer issues related to projects.
5. Execute standard operating procedures for projects to ensure successful completion.
6. Provide feedback and recommendations for updates to operating procedures as part of our continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Conduct and host customer meetings related to status across multiple projects.
8. Enforce and comply with all Company policies and safety procedures.
1. Must be computer literate and have the manual dexterity to perform data entry quickly and accurately.
2. Comfortable working with very tedious information with strong attention to detail.
3. Must have strong skills in Microsoft Office software specifically Excel and company programs.
4. Must be comfortable working on vendor websites with the ability to learn navigation of new sites.
5. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Ability to adjust to changing priorities.
7. Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings with minimal assistance.
8. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with vendors and internal customers.
9. Must be able to deal with steady interruptions that include phone calls, emails, and employee questions.
10. Must have good organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple priorities.
11. Education: Minimum level: High School Diploma.
12. Experience: Minimum amount: At least one year of previous experience in a Project Manager role.
13. Position works primarily in an office environment, which may be noisy and/or distracting. Occasional offsite meetings for presentation, training, etc.
