Job summary

Specialist Staffing Group is seeking an experienced LNG/Midstream Project Engineer/Manager for confidential facility projects in the Northeast. You will lead design, procurement, and construction efforts for pipelines, compressor stations, and LNG facilities, guiding EPC activities from concept to startup.

Strong budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder management skills are essential. Minimum 5 years in engineering design and construction within natural gas or midstream industries is required,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of engineering design and construction experience within natural gas, LNG, pipeline, midstream, or related industries.

Responsibilities

• Develop design plans, project schedules, cost estimates, and agreements for new facility projects and modifications to existing facilities.
• Lead and manage capital projects involving pipelines, compressor stations, and M&R stations from concept through startup and commissioning.
• Maintain accountability for project budgets, schedules, and overall project execution.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support EPC activities.
• Oversee completion of engineering deliverables and equipment procurement activities.
• Prepare and manage requisitions for design services, materials, equipment, and construction services; evaluate vendor proposals and bids.
• Administer service agreements, engineering contracts, and construction contracts.
• Coordinate land acquisition, permitting, and environmental approvals required for project execution.
• Represent the company during public meetings, stakeholder engagements, and project-related forums.
• Maintain and verify accurate as-built documentation for completed projects.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, company standards, and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of engineering design and construction experience within the natural gas, LNG, pipeline, midstream, or related industries.
• Experience managing capital projects through design, procurement, construction, and startup phases.
• Ability to develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and engineering deliverables.
• Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments while independently managing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with engineering and computer software applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience supporting LNG facilities, natural gas infrastructure, compressor stations, pipelines, or related facilities.
• Knowledge of DOT and PHMSA Pipeline and LNG Safety Regulations.
• Knowledge of NFPA and OSHA codes, standards, and safety requirements.
