Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or related work experience.
  • 5+ years of project-related experience, including 3+ years leading projects.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CAPM certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the workers' compensation industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, quality, and risks to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and IT managers to secure the right resources and skills for project success.
  • Communicate project progress, key milestones, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation including project charters, plans, status reports, risk assessments, and change requests.
  • Ensure project deliverables – including requirements, design documentation, testing plans, implementation plans, and communications – are completed with high quality and on schedule.
  • Identify project dependencies, resource conflicts, and opportunities for efficiencies across initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization and help teams navigate challenges to keep projects moving forward.

JOB OVERVIEW

At NCCI, we're looking for a Project Manager who enjoys bringing people together, solving complex challenges, and delivering results that matter. You'll have the opportunity to lead business and technology initiatives that support the workers' compensation industry. As a Project Manager, you'll partner with our business and IT leaders, guide cross-functional teams, and play a key role in turning ideas into successful outcomes. This position will focus on small to medium-sized projects and departmental business objectives, while maintaining a high and consistent level of quality service, customer support, and satisfaction. This position will work in a flexible-hybrid environment. The selected candidate must be local within commutable distance to our Boca Raton, FL headquarters. NOTE: NCCI will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
