Job summary

Evlo AI in Austin seeks a Project Manager to lead cross-functional delivery across engineering, product, IT, and operations. You turn complex work into clear plans, coordinating dependencies across software releases, cloud infrastructure, and data systems to ship reliably.

You will establish execution discipline, surface risks early, and keep stakeholders aligned from planning through launch, helping teams scale operating processes with minimal friction.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in technical project management or related role.
• Experience delivering software, cloud infrastructure, data platform, cybersecurity, or internal systems projects.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum, SDLC processes, release management, and cross-functional dependency tracking.
• Hands-on with project and collaboration tools such as Jira, Linear, Confluence, Notion, Slack or equivalents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate technical details into clear decisions and timelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, engineering, or related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
• Bonus: PMP, CSM, or similar certification; experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, CI/CD workflows, APIs, SQL, or data governance programs.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical projects from scoping through release, defining milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, and success metrics
• Build and maintain delivery plans in Jira, Linear, Asana, or Smartsheet; provide accurate status reporting to stakeholders and leadership
• Coordinate engineering, product, design, security, data, and operations teams across software development and infrastructure initiatives
• Manage release readiness, including QA completion, incident-response planning, documentation, change management, and post-launch reviews
• Identify delivery risks and blockers early; facilitate decisions, escalation tradeoffs, and maintain clear action logs through resolution
• Establish project operating rhythms, including kickoff meetings, sprint or milestone reviews, retrospectives, and executive updates
• Improve project and engineering workflows by analyzing cycle time, delivery predictability, dependency trends, and other operational metrics
