Description

This role is responsible for material planning, forecasting, and readiness to support technology development, new product development, supply qualification, and factory readiness. It acts as the primary interface between Engineering, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Supplier/Manufacturing Partners.

• Lead materials budget planning and spend management in partnership with Finance and Engineering
• Manage the clear-to-build (CTB) process for pre-production phases
• Propose optimized supply planning to ensure on-time build schedules and resolve materials issues
• Work closely with Engineering to manage multiple or alternative source qualifications through build management
• Lead process improvements in NPI materials management
• Conduct regular supply planning meetings with manufacturing partners

Education

- BS/BA with 3-5 years or equivalent professional experience

Key Qualifications

• Experience in NPI supply chain management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work in a constantly changing environment
• Multi-tasking and priority-setting skills
• Proficiency in Excel
• Technical expertise and OEM management experience a plus
• Knowledge of Agile, SAP, Oracle, Numbers, Keynote, and Pages is a plus
• PMP, APICS, CSCP, or CPIM certification is a plus
