DeckTech in Alabama is seeking a skilled Project Manager to bring our structured, transparent, and professionally managed approach to every jobsite. You’ll lead scheduling, on-site coordination, and client communication to ensure every deck build meets our standards and timelines.
You’ll supervise subcontractors, monitor workmanship, and drive closeout processes, while mentoring assistants and growing with a company that values craftsmanship, accountability, and a family-like team culture.
At DeckTech, we're passionate about creating exceptional outdoor living spaces, but what truly sets us apart is that DeckTech was built on the belief that construction should be structured, transparent, and professionally managed. That philosophy drives everything we do — and as our Project Manager, you'll be the one bringing it to life on every jobsite.
Too often, homeowners feel uncertainty during building projects. Our company operates on defined systems that give clients clarity, confidence, and control from start to finish — and you'll be the person making sure that promise is kept, every day, on every job.
As the premier deck builder in Alabama and West Georgia, we're looking for someone who wants more than a job managing schedules. We're looking for a leader who wants to grow alongside a company that's building something special.
Our team takes pride in more than just building decks. We build trust with homeowners, pride in craftsmanship, and a culture where hard work and growth are valued. We operate as a close-knit team of hardworking professionals who treat clients, and each other, like family. Collaboration, respect, and accountability are core to how we work together every day. As Deck Tech grows, we believe our people should grow with us.
If you're an experienced construction professional, a detail-driven organizer, or a natural leader who thrives on keeping people and projects on track, this role offers something most PM positions can't: real ownership.
You'll have a direct impact on how our clients experience their build, how our subcontractors perform, and how our company's reputation grows throughout our market.
Instead of being buried in paperwork, you'll be hands-on in:
You'll work directly with company leadership, see the results of your efforts firsthand, and gain experience that would typically take years to accumulate in a larger corporate environment.
You'll be the steady hand guiding every project from the pre-construction meeting to the final walk-through.
You'll keep homeowners informed with proactive, friendly communication — morning updates on what's happening, evening updates on what got done.
You'll make sure every subcontractor shows up prepared, understands the full scope of work, and leaves the jobsite clean and professional.
You'll catch problems before they become delays, and keep materials, permits, and special orders moving on schedule.
Most importantly, you'll help us continue building a company known for excellence.
We're looking for someone who:
Construction management experience is helpful, but leadership, communication, and follow-through matter even more.
Many companies offer a position. We're offering a career path.
As DeckTech continues to grow, this position has the potential to evolve into greater responsibility as you develop a strong understanding of our operations, subcontractor network, and brand standards — including oversight of additional projects, mentorship of Assistant Project Managers, and a growing leadership role within the company.
You’ll be responsible for keeping projects moving on schedule, coordinating homeowners and subcontractors at every key milestone, managing materials and deliveries, and ensuring every jobsite reflects DeckTech’s standard of professionalism- from the dress code to the yard sign out front.
If you're looking for a place where your leadership matters, your work is visible, and your growth is tied directly to your performance, we'd love to meet you.
