Job summary

Chesapeake Fire Protection, formerly Chesapeake Sprinkler Company, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute fire protection and technical service projects from initiation to completion.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of PM experience in construction/ fire protection. PMP or equivalent certification is preferred. On-site role based in Ashburn, VA with comprehensive benefits.

Div. 136 - Ashburn, VASummaryResponsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget; serves as the primary point of contact for project execution, collaborating with operations, clients, and internal teams to deliver high-quality results and achieve customer satisfaction.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to achieve project objectives.Coordinate cross-functional teams, including operations, service, engineering, and procurement, to ensure timely execution.Monitor project progress, track milestones, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.Communicate project status, financial performance, and risks to clients and leadership.Review project documents, specifications, and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance.Manage change orders, scope adjustments, and project documentation.Ensure all projects comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Participate in on-call rotation for project escalations or emergency needs as required.Maintain accurate project records and reporting for internal and client use.Education and/or ExperienceBachelor’s degree and 5+ years of project management experience in construction, fire protection, or technical service industries; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
