Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client seeking a fully remote Project Manager to join their team. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate joint planning with the client in the early stages of project formation
  • Determine organizational and financial feasibility of the project including the completion of the business case as appropriate
  • Managing $1-2M CAPZ budget and/or CAPX spending
  • Facilitates schedule and cost forecasting and mentors program managers in determining risk based provisions
  • Manages project scope/requirements changes, multiple and competing demands and priorities determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk using appropriate fact-based metrics/assumptions
  • Recommend best solutions to upper management based on understanding of business issues
  • Promote innovative or improved methods to get the work done and implements best practices
  • Resolve issues and conflicts, remove barriers, and resolve minor project issues; Act as escalation point for potential conflicts between direction and project constraints

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience
  • 10+ years of experience in managing large scale, high visibility projects
  • Experience managing several significant projects simultaneously
  • Highly organized with superior time management skills, customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills required to manage communications to all clients
  • Advanced knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics
  • Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis
  • Advanced user proficiency with computer software, such as MS Office, MS Project, and/or Visio
  • Advanced understanding of IT principals, including lifecycle planning, estimating and architecture
  • High level of general management skills including, but not limited to, leading, negotiating, communicating and team building

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
