Job Title: Project Manager

Duration: 07 Months (contract to hire)

Location: REMOTE

Pay Rate: $60-68.85/ Hour on W2 without benefits

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of projects. They will collaborate across a highly matrixed organization, working with client-facing and technical teams to ensure project delivery within scope, time, and budget, following the SDLC process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as Scrum Master on Agile projects and traditional Project Manager on waterfall projects.
• Build and maintain resource plans, allocations, and compliance to ensure project continuity and predictability.
• Coordinate internal resources, contractors, and third-party vendors for seamless project execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Develop stakeholder management plans and communicate effectively.
• Define project scope and objectives, involving stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Manage risks associated with scope, schedule, and costs.
• Report on project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Schedule and facilitate project toll gates.
• Document lessons learned.

Education/Training:

• Scrum Master Certification and PMP preferred.

Related Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Freight Rating, Brokerage, Transportation, and Logistics preferred.
• Experience with Jira Software required.
• Proven experience managing large mission-critical projects using Agile and/or waterfall methodologies.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Strong facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization.
• Experience creating and managing project plans.
• Experience with PPM tools like MSFT's Project Online preferred.

Work Schedule:

• Shift start and end time: 8 am - 5 pm
• Scheduled days: Monday - Friday
