An employer is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to join their team remotely in Eastern Standard Time. This position is open due to a new project that will be kicking off in July 2025 to implement a new SaaS Commercial Off-the-Shelf solution to handle their grants management as an enterprise solution. All of the agencies currently are utilizing various disparate methods for grants management and grands administration and they will be moving to an enhanced and streamlined enterprise wide solution for all things grants related. This Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for owning this enterprise grants effort from concept through creation. They will be in charge of driving all project needs including project plans, timelines, and distributing tasks across the functional teams involved. They will be responsible for managing project budget and overseeing and assigning tasks throughout the duration of the project and working closely with the outsourced partners, stakeholders, and executive leadership teams. The Sr IT Project Management should have experience managing a project for centralizing an enterprise system and will be directly involved in the change management aspects of the project. They will handle the implementation aspect while management change management for the project and working directly with stakeholders and the vendor team to push this project forward. Initially there will be 10 agencies in the state moving to this platform, but once things are up and running there will be additional agencies moving over as well. Portions of this project will follow both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, so the Senior IT Project Manager should be flexible from a management perspective. The ideal individual will have exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal, while being able to work in and manage cross-functional teams.
