Job summary

TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead a team on a variety of precast and prestressed concrete projects for large commercial structures.

You will direct Project Coordinators and Technicians and collaborate with Project Engineers to deliver successful outcomes. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in design of precast/concrete structures, strong communication, and proven mentorship abilities.

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of experience managing the design of precast/pre-stressed concrete structures and products.
• Mentorship and development of others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Familiarity with design using engineering software.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.
• Willing and able to adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Day to day project management of complex precast/pre-stressed concrete projects for large commercial buildings.

Job description

The Project Manager is an integral member of the project team, one who is responsible for: project management of a variety of engineering projects, leading and directing Project Coordinators and Technicians, and collaborating with Project Engineers to produce successful project outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Day to day project management of complex projects on a wide variety of precast and pre-stressed concrete structures and connections for large commercial buildings such as stadiums/ arenas, dormitories, parking garages, office buildings, etc.
• Provide management, guidance, training, and mentorship to a team of, Project Coordinators and Technicians
• Construction administration of projects including processing submittals and site inspections
• Ensure clients are satisfied and all assigned deadlines are met

Qualifications

• B.S. Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 10+ years of experience managing the design of precast/pre-stressed concrete structures and products
• Successful mentorship and development of others
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
