Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group in Wisconsin seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead structural steel fabrication projects from award to closeout, coordinating detailing, fabrication, purchasing and scheduling to ensure on-time delivery and profitability.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in project management within structural steel, reads blueprints, and holds a bachelor’s degree in CM/CE/BA or related field; relocation is supported and a strong bonus plan along with BCBS and a 401(k) are offered.

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural steel projects from award through project closeout.
• Lead project kick-off activities and review contract requirements.
• Coordinate detailing, fabrication, purchasing and project scheduling.
• Manage RFIs, change orders and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and profitability throughout delivery.
• Maintain regular communication with customers and project stakeholders.
• Work closely with production, purchasing, quality control, accounting, scheduling and project coordination teams.
• Lead project meetings, monitor progress and resolve project issues to keep work on schedule and within budget.

Compensation: $80,000–$110,000 + Annual Bonus + Benefits + Relocation Assistance If Needed.

• Manage structural steel projects from contract award through project closeout.
