Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of proven experience in project management in the construction industry, preferably Steel Fabrication.
  • Deep understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
  • Experience with contract management, budgeting, and decision-making.
  • PM or related certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Leading project planning sessions and managing project resources.

Job Details

This is a permanent position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to our exciting and innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project management, contract management, budgeting, team leadership, time management, and decision-making, preferably within Steel Fabrication. With over 5 years of experience in the field, the candidate will have a proven track record of successfully overseeing all aspects of a project, from conception to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management, including initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure.
  • Leading project planning sessions and managing project resources.
  • Coordinating staff and internal resources, ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Assessing project risks and issues and providing solutions where applicable.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met and determining project changes.
  • Providing regular project updates to stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Managing large and diverse teams, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Developing and managing detailed project budgets and controlling expenditures.
  • Implementing and managing change when necessary to meet project outputs.
  • Evaluating and assessing the results of the project.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of proven experience in project management in the construction industry, preferably in Steel Fabrication.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability in contract management, budgeting, and decision-making.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, quality standards and safety codes.
  • Experience with construction management software.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
