Lockheed Martin Ocala Global Supply Chain is seeking a Project Management & Planning Operations Representative to support the Air Dominance Program. This role interfaces with Program Managers, Engineers, Supplier Quality and Supply Chain partners to manage supplier cost, schedule, and performance of non-major sub items.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong supplier relationships, and travels to suppliers as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related discipline; entry level.
• Must be a US Citizen and eligible for a US Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Experience establishing relationships with a supplier and managing supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers to determine lowest cost consistent with quality and schedules.
• Expedite and coordinate hardware deliveries to meet production schedules.
• Troubleshoot supplier issues with management oversight.
• Understand program material requirements, LMPA, FAR and DFAR compliance.
• Work cross-functionally with program management, engineering, finance, and quality to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop and track Supplier IPTs and travel to suppliers as needed for issues or new developments.
• Ensure timely release of purchase orders to subtiers.

Lockheed Martin (LM) Ocala Global Supply Chain team is seeking a Project Management & Planning Operations Representative to support the Air Dominance Program Team specifically supporting Ocala Operations. The team interfaces directly with Program Managers, Engineers, Supplier Quality and our Supply Chain Partners and will be responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance of non major sub items.

Responsibilities Will Include

• Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
• Expedite and coordinate hardware deliveries to meet production schedules
• Troubleshooting to resolve supplier issues or concerns with management oversight
• Understanding program material requirements, Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMPA), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
• Working cross-functionally with program managment, engineering, finance, and quality to insure timely delivery of products to support production needs
• Role will require developing and tracking Supplier IPT's and traveling to suppliers in support of issues that may arise due to quality or schedule concerns or development of new suppliers and/or products.
• Ensuring timely release of purchase orders to subtiers

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.
• Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Experience establishing relationships with a supplier and managing supplier performance

Desired Skills

• Strong procurement skills
• Experience with Systems, Applications and Processes within SAP
• FAR/DFAR experience
• Strong expediting experience will be a key factor in this role and highly beneficial with experience in commodities such as machined parts, sheet metal parts, castings, connectors, electrical components, and chemicals
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Power Point, Word, Excel)
• Demonstrated critical thinking / problem solving abilities

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
