Job summary

Lunar Outpost is seeking an Embedded Software Engineering Intern to help develop, test, and refine the embedded software on Lunar Outpost hardware. You’ll work closely with full-time engineers on real, engaging, and impactful projects that contribute to Lunar Outpost products.

This in-person internship runs early June 2027 to late August 2027, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Golden, Colorado, with flexible start/end dates to fit school schedules.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in embedded development and proficiency in embedded C.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and refine embedded software on Lunar Outpost hardware.
• Collaborate with full-time engineers on real, impactful projects.
• Participate in end-to-end software development and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
